Who we are
FREE MSP Tools is operated by Sondela Consulting Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 10269832. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to FREE MSP Tools and Sondela Consulting Limited. You can contact us through our contact page.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, profile details, avatar, authentication provider and security preferences.
- Community content: tools, source code, documentation, screenshots, forum topics, replies, requests, ratings, comments and status updates you submit.
- Communications: contact enquiries, private messages, reports to administrators and email-notification preferences.
- Technical and security information: session identifiers and security, diagnostic and access information made available by our hosting and authentication providers.
Do not include passwords, client credentials, API keys, personal client data or other secrets in uploaded tools or public posts.
How and why we use information
We use this information to create and secure accounts, provide downloads and community features, publish attributed contributions, deliver requested emails, moderate content, investigate abuse, respond to enquiries and maintain the service. Our UK GDPR bases are performance of our service agreement, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the community, legal obligations, and consent where it is specifically requested.
Public information
Your public display name, avatar and contributions may be visible to other visitors or members. Private messages and administrator reports are restricted to their intended participants and authorised moderators, except where access is required for security, safeguarding or legal reasons.
Service providers and international processing
We use service providers including Supabase for authentication, database and file storage; Vercel for application hosting; and Resend for transactional email. Links and media from services such as GitHub, external product websites and YouTube are governed by those services when you visit them. Providers may process data outside the UK; we rely on their contractual and legal transfer safeguards where required.
Passwords and security
Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not stored as readable text by FREE MSP Tools. We use access controls and role-based permissions, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or contribution has been compromised.
Retention
Account and contribution data is retained while the account or content remains active and as reasonably necessary for moderation, security, dispute handling and legal records. Public contributions may remain after an account closes where preserving the discussion is necessary; identifying information can be removed or anonymised where appropriate.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to certain processing, or request a portable copy where applicable. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the contact form. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy when the platform, providers or legal requirements change. The revision date appears at the top.
